Over half the people earmarked for deportation to Rwanda to UK are ‘missing’

well there’s a protest going on here you
can see that a group of protesters are

blocked an immigration van we understand
that on that van is the Syrian man he’s
not alone he told us today that he’s
been detained with three other people
they all turned up for their routine
Asylum interview if you’re here claiming
asylum in this country it’s normal that
every two weeks you have to report to an
Immigration Center but when they turned
up today they were held he told me that
a policeman kept him in a room and said
you will be sent to a detention center
and then put on a flight to Rwanda now
this has happened much earlier than
people understood the government has
said that flights won’t take off for 10
to 12 weeks and yet they have started to
detain people earlier than cour the home
office told us it’s all part of their
preparation for the Rwanda plan but it’s
caused a lot of controversy as you can
see people here are trying to block the
Vans to stop people being removed now we
spoke to one young man today he told us
he was extremely frightened he said he
hasn’t been told where he will be tained
or how long for now he turned up for his
interview some others today didn’t turn
up and the government has had to defend
its handling of these cases because a
document released has shown that around
3,000 people who have been told that
they will be removed can’t be located
and today the government defended its
policy never been arrested before so why
not we’ll see what the police say mllo
has promised to stop the deportations

that’s true I think there’s a man that’s
as we film we learn that a man has been
detained he’s not in the van he’s being
held inside the center his name is
Muhammad and we managed to speak to
him after that they told us they will
talk us

told me he’s originally from Syria where
he’d escaped the war he says he’s been
living in shared accommodation in
Nottingham and turned up this morning
for what he thought would be a routine
appointment so when you came to sign
what
happened they told me we want

scared Muhammad told me he isn’t alone
he’s being held with three others two
from Iran and one Afghanistan he told me
he’d come to the UK via a boat across
the channel and that he had received a
letter from the home office telling him
he’s liable for removal we couldn’t
confirm what had happened as the home
office told us it would be inappropriate
to comment on operational
details dozens of people turned up here
for their interviews but there were
others who said they were too frightened
that Taxi Driver who’ gone to pick up an
asylum Seeker who apparently done a
runner the government said anyone not
reporting will be found after a document
suggested more than 3,000 people
identified for removal cannot be located
Muhammad hasn’t been told where he will
be held in detention or how long it will
be before he’s put on a flight

Government data has revealed that the Home Office has lost track of more than half the 5,700 people it has earmarked for deportation to Rwanda.

Cabinet minister Victoria Atkins insists they will be found, saying they shouldn’t think they will get away with not reporting to the authorities.

We report from an immigration enforcement reporting centre in Loughborough, where we spoke to a Syrian man who says he was detained today and told he will be deported to Rwanda.

  4. Wonder if that lady in wheel chair has trouble seeing a doctor or dentist. Is she living in the real world? My 84 old father had to pay nearly 5k to get a operation in a uk national insurance sytem hospital, by a NHS doctor, doing private jobs. It got his waiting time to op around 3 months, but it would have been 18 months + to wait on NHS, he had colostomy bag on poor old fella, pure agony for him 😢

  10. There are 4 million Muslims and 2.5 million black people in Britain. Of these, only a third are eligible to vote, that’s 2,145,000.00 million people, this is not enough for a Labour Party government.

    So the majority of the Labour Party votes will come from the white majority British voters.

    What does this mean? Well white people are like turkeys voting for Christmas. Because white people have divided themselves and conquered themselves.

    The Metropolitan Police commissioner is a white male, the majority of metropolitan police officers are white males. The majority of Labour MPs are white males. The Church of England is majority white male. The King and his family are majority white.

    So if there is a perception that being the white majority in England/ Britain, is detrimental to white people, their culture or religion, then white people should really take a long hard look at themselves!

    If the Labour Party win the next election and open Britains borders to mass Muslim or whatever migration, if the Labour Party choose to rejoin the EU without a referendum, if the Labour Party chooses to conduct an illegal Middle Eastern war or two without the British peoples consent, if the Labour Party become even more anti white and anti British and anti Middle class than they already are, NO ONE BUT THE MAJORITY WHITE POPULATION AND WHITE POLITICIANS AND WHITE CHRISTIAN CHURCH OF ENGLAND CAN BLAME ANY OTHER MINORITY RACE OR CREED!!

    There are many of us Asians, such as myself, such as Suella Braverman or Priti Patel or many black Britons such as Adam Afriyie, Kwasi Kwarteng, James Cleverly, Kemi Badenoch, Darren Henry, Bim Afolami and solicitor and businesswoman Helen Grant who are ARDENT Patriots.

    I adore the country of my birth and would defend its ideals and traditions from anyone that try’s to harm it and its peoples. But we are a small minority, it’s up to our white brothers and sisters to stand up and stop being frightened of being called a racist or a bigot. Because if our white family doesn’t stand up, then we are ALL DOOMED. ❤️🇬🇧👍🏽

    do these idiots that are protesting, do they have no problem to get GP app?
    I can only see GP on that day, if it is very serious.
    Otherwise, 5 weeks waiting time.

  20. I would think the new Rwanda bill doesn’t apply to people who arrived before the bill was passed.

    That is just basic concept of the rule of law.

People are forgetting that long, long before the "small boats crisis" there were estimates in the hundreds of thousands of illegal immigrants & visa overstayers already in the UK and lost in the system. And even more recently, when the boats used to arrive before dawn and everyone would leg it. The ones in this report are just the ones that they were able to count.

  27. 1) May I remind you that we did not have hundreds of people crossing the channel illegally, every day, in little rubber boats prior to BREXIT!  2) Neither did we have to spend around £1 million per refugee, to fly and house each migrant in an extremely unsafe country called Rawanda. This is all as a direct result of BREXIT!  3) As I have told Brexiteers many times, until these Brexiteers are prepared to do those low paid, dirty, back-breaking jobs that British people REFUSE to do, WE WILL ALWAYS NEED LOADS OF IMMIGRATION.  That's why LEGAL immigration has increased by leaps and bounds, and it's all as a result of BREXIT!  4) Did you know that since we have left the EU, the UK is no longer the 5th biggest economy in the world?  Guess who has taken the No 5 position and pushed us into No 6…….INDIA!  And this was as a direct result of BREXIT!  5) And guess who is grovelling, begging and pleading for a trade deal with India, like a starving little mongrel dog???  You guessed it…..BREXIT UK!  6) We are now weaker, poorer, less respected around the world and a DAMN LAUGHING STOCK!…..   29. They should not be misappropriating taxpayers money by stealing it from hard-working families and giving it to these lawbreakers. They came to England with nothing they should leave with nothing. This problem is currently costing taxpayers £3 billion and rising every year. It needs to be stopped and the way to stop it is to put a stop to all immigration, stop giving illegals state help and start turning the dinghies back using Royal Marines. People like me will no longer pay tax on earnings I do not consent.
