Uncontroversial opinion: Binface is the very last vestige of effective satire the country has left. Politics is now so ridiculous (whether by ineptitude or malice) and the electorate feel so abandoned or without agency that simply mocking the policies of those in power and of influence is meaningless and ineffectual. Binface exists within the framework of participatory democracy, and parodies it at the same time. Unlike past “joke” candidates who simply stood to toss the salad of their own ego (Max Fosh, that Niko prat), Binface is a studied, knowledgeable character who offers actual policies that, on their face, appear silly but are actually in line with what voters consider important.
In short: he’s the best candidate, and wouldn’t be the worst mayor of the current crop, our politics are a mess, and the state of British comedy is moribund.
I am tempted to vote for him tomorrow.
I’ll be ballot spoiling and I look forward to having my say
would have loved to vote him as second option.
I thought his entire thing was making fun of the political process he’s trying to get people to waste votes on himself FFS…
I’m voting for him. I think voting is a bit of a waste of time as no one can please all the voters and so nothing gets done.
Old people like their triple lock and have a lot of wealth despite earning fuck all when they were young, the young are screwed by housing, degrees don’t mean good jobs, no middle class as you can’t really earn wealth, immigration, public services that are privatised.
So many problems that requires one group to lose. I think we need to decide who loses instead of who we chose to help

There’s too many sides with a say that is no
