Hi all… just a quick question for anyone living in or around Saeul, is the traffic truly as awful as the article seems to say (yes I know it’s old)? I know it will be relative, but say for example compared to Capellen or Mamer which also receive a lot of Belgian traffic? Thanks

  1. Yes there are the two crossroads the one coming from Septfontaines to the mainroad in front of the Maison Rouge and then 20m further up (or down depending perspective) the split to Bruch. Those two are very busy intersections. Specially at rush hour.

  2. I don’t think it’s bad in Saeul itself, but if you’re commuting to the city you’re likely to hit traffic in Brouch (due to constant construction on/around the main road), at the A7 on-ramp, or around the exit to Kirchberg.

We chose to live up north in large part to avoid the frontalier traffic, and overall it’s worked out well.

  3. I’m from Reichlange, i pass Saeul every day, once around 6:30 on my way to work in Kirchberg, and once around 16:00 on my way home. Traffic is not that bad at all. They are having some construction works going on and this causes some traffic, but all by all i have never had an issue with traffic. I do understand why they want to put a camera there, nobody drives the speed limit. I’ve witnessed many accidents in the last year in and around saeul.
