  1. Growing hydrocarbon fuels is like baking a cake from scratch rather than starting with cake mix. More environmental impact (growing / methane / fertilizers / habitat loss), more economic impact (less food for people), all to make an unnecessary product. We should be acting to move away from this need rather than doubling down on costly ways to preserve the status quo.

  2. Great. We have loads of spare land and freshwater to grow corn so this will definitely not cause massive deforestation, carbon emissions and habitat loss to produce jet fuel… /s
