Russia “Downs” US-Made ATACMS Fired By Ukraine | Fire Breaks Out Near Air Defence Unit In Simferopol

Russia claimed to have shot down six US-supplied Army Tactical Missile System (ATACMS) launched by Ukraine on April 30. Officials in Russian-annexed Crimea said some of the missiles were downed over the Black Sea peninsula.
The US admitted last week that it secretly shipped long-range missiles to Ukraine for use against Russian forces. The weapons, which reached Ukraine this month, were part of a $300m aid package approved by US President Joe Biden in March.
Whether to send the ATACMS missiles with a range up to 300 km was a subject of debate within the Biden administration for months.

  1. The US is sending some of the most advanced weapons to Ukraine to be used against Russia and sees NOTHING wrong with that. How would the US respond if Russia gave hypersonic cruise missiles to the Houthis in Yemen? With moral outrage of course.

  2. Biden has gone back on his every statement concerning what weapons he would not send to Ukraine. He can't be trusted at all.

  3. CRUX is very biased toward Ukraine, notice when they report on a Russian attacks, they always say that one or two civilians were killed but never say how many the Ukraines kill in their attacks which is much higher.

  12. USA now makes 550 ATACMS per year and have made 500 per year for decades. They have a shelf life and would have to be disposed due to age, so this is one way of america getting rid of older missiles for free, and restocking them that they would have to do anyways! Win-Win for USA and Ukraine!

  33. So attacks come from fleet in Black sea? 300kms range is quite long, plenty of time to film properly. Lots of dollars flying through the air. Pity video was from Archive.
