Some of my kids are missing school next week as the school is on the NW200 course.
I drove past the grandstand today and saw an Irish tricolour was included alongside the NI flag and British flag. I've not noticed this before but fair play to the organisers.

>fair play to the organisers
…no.
We shouldn’t feel the need to commend organisers for representing over 50% of the community with a flag.
It should be expected, not requested.
That’s a nice set of flegs to be fair. I like the colors…
Plenty of time to admire them after you’ve watched five seconds of bikes flying past.
Thanks for flagging this with the sub
Fair play to the organisers?
For what? Including the flag representing the nationality of one of the racers participating…
Kind of a given really.
The Swiss flag is a big plus.

No doubt it will be complained about
Thank you to Michael our north coast fleg and bonfire correspondent……
Don’t know how to feel about motorcycle racing. I’m all for letting people enjoy what they like, but this sport is glorified suicide. I don’t know how people can see friends and family die at the hands of this sport and keep competing. Maybe I just don’t get it.
Is that Isle of Man in the middle? 🇮🇲
Nice seeing the Swiss flag up there, it’s a big plus
Surely there are much more efficient ways for people to kill themselves at the public expense?
Nw doesn’t attract a bad crowd to be fair, but mad that we’re suffering as many road deaths in NI this year but we still encourage / allow this to go ahead.
Away on ye hallion! I do not see any Irish flag… it’s clearly the Ivory Coast.
Hopefully the weather holds up, North West is a great event when the weather is good!
“Motorbikes, but what are the fleg applications?”
Drove past it a few times. I thought it was Italian. Still do!
