Macron is all talk and no action. My take on the french lagging with support is that in reality they want Ukraine to fail because Ukraine in the EU would be the end of french agriculture. European agro subsidies (the cork on which France floats) would have to be shared and Ukraine would outscale french productivity. Therefor all Macron says is just whitewashing and window dressing. France only has one interest: France. Just my 2 cents…
This is how it starts.
First we see foreign advisors (we have that now, officially and unofficially.)
Then you get foreign logistical and administrative aid (military forces on the ground being used outside combat roles.)
Then the aforementioned soldiers take casualties due to missile strikes, drones, etc.
NATO air defense and other defense systems are moved into the country and operated by NATO soldiers.
Due to the influx of NATO ground forces, more NATO troops are killed by strikes, mines, etc.
Full scale escalation ensues.
Not that I have an issue with that, I am objectively in support of Ukraine, but for anyone wondering. Once this starts, it’s a slippery slope.

Not wanting to “die for Danzig” led to a disaster. So, hopefully some people have learned from that. Muscovy must not be allowed to achieve anything in Ukraine, because it would be disastrous for all of Europe. For Muscovy, this whole thing is not even about Ukraine, Ukraine just happens to be the beginning because of where it is geographically.
Why we need to wait the worse to start to prevent the worse…. ? 🤷♂️🤦♂️this is non sense to me, deploy NATO troops on the north so they can concentrate more of their forces on the East, don’t wait for the worse… Italy 🇮🇹

I said at the beginning of this war, that NATO would become actively involved, for reasons yet to be determined…. My opinion hasn’t changed…. NATO will not allow Russia to win this war…. Russia has let the genie out of the bottle, and can’t put it back in.

Good of France to once again come to the aid of the Russ against the Asian hordes from Moscow. The brave Russian people living in Ukraine are sick and tired of the Chinese puppet from Moscow that wants to destroy Russias heritage. Russians have always fought in the European wars. But todays Russia is not a European country. Ukraine is! The Kievan Russ is European! The Muskovites are an Asian horde that does the bidding of Beijing. Putin is Xi’s puppet that is selling out so that China can take back Manchuria from a weakened Russia once it has exhausted itself on the Western front.
At least some European politicians seem to comprehension when we don’t drive the Russians our of Ukraine, we will very soon have to drive them out of a NATO member state.
Right now all the West would have to provide is enough guns, ammo, and air support for Ukraine to prevail, but if the West continues to slack around and grovel, that war will come to a NATO member country very, very soon.
ICYMI: Kuwait was not a NATO member, but that didn’t prevent Desert Storm.

If Macron has this intent, I cannot fathom any reason why he is waiting for a few thousand more Ukrainians to be dead.
If his goal is to send troops into Ukraine, get the hell on with it, and reinforce Ukrainian positions now.
