2. And this is what happens when we entertain Gender critical ideas and belief systems as a norm and see them as valid ideas to have.

3. Why is it that damn near every Brit I’ve ever met loves a good panto, but then this makes a chunk of the population lose their minds?

   Again: panto. There’s some fat bloke in drag making lewd jokes for the adults to laugh at, and no one worries about their kids being brainwashed.

4. Nobody should be posting threats anywhere – take that as too obvious to need to state. That is the absolute worst kind of anonymous social media brain-rot.

   If it had been Panto story hour nobody would have noticed or cared

   But drag queen has different connotations especially in the UK so its hard to see it as anything other than intentionally provoking a reaction calling it that. So they got a reaction. It really is imported culture war nonsense when it could have been branded and performed as Panto and hence been regarded as child friendly almost by default.

5.  Firstly threats of violence is never ever acceptable and the people doing it should be dragged in front of a judge.

   I’m a fan of drag queens, but the stuff I see at shows certainly wouldn’t be suitable for children. People are very confused when they say drag is panto, it’s completely different kettle of fish, go to any gay club and watch one perform

   I don’t understand why this is a thing,  otherwise than to be controversial. Would you have a sex worker do story time for your kids.

6. I see there are unintentional consequences or intensional effects of brexit here..
   Instead of dealing with the French stupidity and the Greek finances we got to American lunacy..

   What next.. guns for all so they can shoot up schools, laws oppressing women reproductive freedom, religious encroachment in politics and a complete fucked up health care system?
