13. I would love to see him do a phase of action comedies like The Nice Guys and Fall Guy. Whereas Ryan Reynolds’ quipster schtick has long since worn thin on me, Gosling’s created this wonderful persona of the slightly doofy, but affable and well-meaning hero who may not be able to match wits or punches with everyone, but figures out a way, and sometimes relies on cartoonish good luck.

16. I personally know a guy who was the fucked up villain in a Best Picture Oscar nominated film. He was the third lead of the film and he told me it really does stick with you after the filming is done. It had been out 10 years when I first talked to him about it and he’d been in many many things since then, but that particular role and the psychological depths he went to for it traumatized him enough that he swore off those kind of roles forever.
