  1. I once found 3 colourful spheres in a charity shop in.Bury St Edmunds. Gold then white then grey, about the size of a fist. Best I can tell they have no purpose other than to look pretty. I of course had to buy them, they’re now on my ornament shelf next to an old bag of unopened Christmas Pudding crisps.

  2. I’ve got a friend who use to work in a charity shop and they’d send pics of some of the weirder stuff they got in. I think the tiny handbag with soldered together padlocks for a chain took the cake since the bag itself was like smaller than an A5 notepad, but there was also the general expected oddities like overly detailed statues of animals, self mate art and plenty of questionable graphic t-shirts.
