It looks like every once in a while Gerasimov is brought out from wherever he is kept so people can see he’s still alive. He’s mostly just standing there looking at Shoigu.

Look guys we bolted 3 of them together, and added a red dot that’s almost as nice as every American has on their pistol!
Gerasimov has never been a particularly emotiv guy, but ever since he reappeared this spring after his seven week disappearance, it really looks like something is a little “off” with him in his infrequent public appearances. His expression and slowed interactions go beyond just grumpiness, and start looking like the abulic presentation of someone with a TBI, or a neurodegenerative disorder like PD.
GUR was obviously wrong about him being killed, but it I believe he took a lot bigger hit than Russias willing to admit.
Puppet. Which makes me think of another puppet. The men who play the role of Putin as his body doubles. What if, some time in the last few years, Putin was disappeared, and only his doubles remain. Shoigu could be the one running Russia now. The remaining Putins his puppets. It may be why the long tables were in force for a while, to get people used to the new Putins, without getting close enough to see that the new Putins were not Putin.
super weird editing in that clip
