That tweet (and OP) seems to be misrepresenting what happened. That poll was run by a local paper (https://www.aamulehti.fi/moro/art-2000007852595.html) and so the “public” here is actually just some random readers of theirs. For further context, that crossposted thread is months old and this article is almost a year old. The project being built had already plans and budgeting further along, so bringing in another pic to compare was a moot point and apparently just for clicks & giggles.
Like yeah sure, many of us will find one of those buildings prettier and it would be nice to get some more variety into our cities, but c’mon, don’t try to stir nonsense with bad takes like this tweet. Dishonesty isn’t helpful.
