Ukraine war unlikely to end soon: Retired Gen. Wesley Clarke

the Director of National Intelligence ail Haynes up on Capitol Hill today warning the Senate the end to Russia’s war in Ukraine is nowhere in sight what what happens next and if both of you are right how long is this going to go on well I don’t think you can look at it in terms of a time uh exactly because um what you’ve got here is a critical situation that affects Global Security were Ukraine to collapse we’d be faced uh with a huge National Security crisis in Europe and it would empower the Chinese to go after Taiwan so we can’t measure it on the clock and if Russia collapses maybe it’ll be the end of Vladimir Putin and that would be a welcome sign

Retired U.S. Army Gen. Wesley Clarke joins #TheHill to discuss how Ukraine is in desperate need of U.S. funding and explains why the war is unlikely to end anytime soon: “We can’t measure it on the clock.”
