After a meal, it’s weird but why not, but during a meal it ruins the balance of flavours.

I’m literally drinking latte macchiato right now. It’s 15:02. My grandma does the same. I will drink my third one after dinner. I’ve never heard of this rule before it became a meme on the internet.
The issue is not about the time… It’s a breakfast thing so you’re supposed to have it in the morning, but who am I to judge you if you want to eat breakfast food in the afternoon?
The problem is pairing it with lunch, because a cappuccino as a beverage with pasta or meat is just awful for your taste buds
I ordered cappuccino in the afternoon several times.
Other than people occasionally saying, “Oh, people usually get that in the morning, here we go” i never had much objection.
I have also seen Italians break spaghetti.
