  1. True or not, experience dictates that all external EU/NATO borders toward Russia should be extensively fortified and all infrastructure planned with defensive purposes in mind.

  2. Baltic states will crush them so fast with NATO air superiority doctrine. They will struggle to even get troops inside the Baltic states.

  3. OK, Kyiv in three days and the Baltics in 7, sure.

I get that showing the dire situation and potential consequences helps garner support, but the whole, “Moscow can take the baltics, or march to Berlin next,” rhetoric has been disproven since the 3rd day of the invasion.

     This was their chance.

     They will never have another.

  4. I just try to be friend with everyone and be neutral 🙂

But if army asks to fight against russia? We all know how it ends up and we are small. Hell no i will escape to Sweden.

  5. Estonia and Latvia have nominally 50% forest cover and 20-25% as swamps. Not all that forest is forest, but it still has young undergrowth high enough to hide movement.

Russia could achieve swift victory only if it has drone dominance.

  6. If Trump is elected Russia will invade the Baltics and China will attack Taiwan at the same time. Trump will not outright violate Article 5 but will keep US involvement at a minimum because ‘America first’.

With minimal US help I don’t know how long the Baltics can hold out.

  7. Russia doesn’t have the means, or will, to break a fortified line in a war with NATO – it hasn’t even managed that in Ukraine by more than a couple of km since 2022.

The Baltics have learnt this AND what the cost of allowing even a temporary Russian inclusion into their territory would mean – this is why they are rapidly fortifying their borders with Russia to ensure the line of contact stays there if things go hot.

  8. The last time I looked the baltics were NATO territory. With NATO weapons. And NATO soldiers. And NATO infrastructure.

Everybody else noticed the uptick in these posts the last days? I start to believe that these post always are part of ruskie hybrid warefare whenever they try to achieve something specific on the battlefield.

  9. So, they uped their invasion time estimate from three days to seven days. They do learn after all.

  10. Nope, the have to go there and we will see it. If it was that easy, it already would has happened

  11. They are getting beat down by many countries hand-offs / equipment from the 80s. There has been a lot of change in 44 years.

  12. Moscow was to take Ukraine in 7 days, right? But now it can beat NATO in 7 days?
