  1. Anna Shalia was born on November 11, 2011. She lived with her family in Novohrodivka and attended the 6th grade at Novohrodivka Middle School named after Taras Shevchenko. Cheerful and creative, she loved animals and enjoyed gymnastics. Social and surrounded by many friends, Anna had numerous dreams and plans for the future.

    She will be laid to rest alongside her grandmother, Svitlana Potapenko, born on March 22, 1959. Anna’s mother was injured but is expected to survive.

    Due to security concerns and the fear of potential Russian attacks, the location and time of the funeral are not being disclosed.
