2. The problem with fact-checking far-right populists like Orban, is that their base doesn’t care. They don’t give a single fuck about it. They get their “news” from Facebook, TikTok, and X, where they only follow fellow far-right morons, and where algorithms feed them with more far-right bullshit on a daily basis.

13. Many are suggesting a violent uprising against the government. That sure would change things but it is important to see that this regime got into power BECAUSE of a violent uprising.

    If we are trying to change things, we shouldn’t fall into the same traps as before. Such a power vacuum creates dictators.

14. LOL. What a crappy fact check. I couldn’t get past the first two.

    – Orban says the left bankrupted Hungary (clearly not meaning literally bankrupted since countries don’t go bankrupt, he meant “left it in terrible financial state”) – FALSE, the country didn’t declare bankruptcy

    – Hungary wages went up 3x. FALSE – GDP didn’t increase (but still admits average wage went up 3x, which is clearly what he meant)

    So basically the first two facts checks are actually true, they just change the definition of what he’s saying and then say “this isn’t true”
