Hello, i recently moved to a new place where I need to install lights as well (in my previous apartment they were already installed by owner).
I have a kattovalaisin already that only has 2 wires for connecting while the outlet on ceiling has 3. I understand that one of them is for ground. But there isn't any clear marking to indicate that.
Does anyone have idea about what is what?
I am attaching picture of both outlet on ceiling and my light connector. Thanks in advance people.

This looks more like the outlet has wires for two separate lights. Could it be that there is also a double-switch for these lights?
This is now where a multimeter would come handy… just sayin’.
It picks up the phone and it calls the professional.
If you are renting call the huolto that manages your building to install it, when I moved into my apt previous tenants left the entire socket unscrewed from the ceiling and the huolto came to fix it within the same day. Its better to be safe than sorry when it comes to electricals.
You have old wiring colours (early 70’s and before) in the ceiling, if they’ve been correctly wired the gray wire is *supposed* to be neutral and the two greens are *supposed* to be live wires from the switch, which I assume is a double switch. But as others have noted, if you have no way of making sure that the wires are not live when handling them etc. you should call your maintenance company or an electrician just to be sure, even if the Wago connectors aren’t as hazardous to handle as screw terminals.
It seems to me that there is
– two live wires 230V (green)
– one zero 0V (gray)
You should be aware, though, that if the previous electrician has been lazy or not a professional, the colors may not be coherently selected. Also, the coloring system of these wires has changed nearly every decade during the last 100 years, so the only sure method is to check it with a multimeter or voltage tester.
There is no protective earth connection (yellow-green wire) in your outlet and thus you should be very conscious when connecting your lamp. By connecting the wrong wires, the lamp will work, but you may risk your life.
This is a job for an electrician, get them to install you a standard light socket.
