  1. Well, that’s no surprise! Adam Schiff has more charisma than a smooth-talking unicorn at a magic convention.

  2. Steve Garvey’s gonna lose harder than he did in the ’84 Series

  3. Still would have preferred Schiff vs Porter. Give us a real choice, not the choice of a Democrat vs a joke.

  4. Sweet! Glad to see trump isnt on the ballot this time around!

  5. About time we’re spared from Trump’s circus! Give us real options, not clowns. Schiff for the win!

  6. Let me tell ya, here in California we are watching this race closely because it could really go either way at any moment. Such a horserace. Wow.

  7. I like Schiff. I’m looking forward to having him as a senator.

While Schiff should have an easy time beating Garvey, it’s the swing congressional seats California has to focus on winning

  8. GOP shot itself in the face in California… I’d be surprised if Garvey scores much outside of Riverside, Nazi Huntington Beach, KKK Newport Beach and Shasta. Let’s see.

  9. If Schiff keeps this up, maybe the Padres will retire his number, too.

  10. What a gross person. He really should be in jail for treason …

  11. I’m a moderate conservative and I like Schiff a lot. His presence and communication won me over during the Trump impeachment. You can’t beat his resume.

  12. Steve Garvey the baseball player?? what does a baseball player know about running a country and passing laws? absurd.

  13. Steve Garvey was a choad as a player and he’s a choad now

  14. That lead is within the range of the last few statewide elections, if I recall.

  15. Yay! We don’t need any more game show hosts, retired movie stars or jocks in politics. They don’t know the first thing about politics and get in on name recognition only. That’s a poor excuse for voting. Adam’s got experience and that’s all that really counts.

  16. I remember when he’d play the Giants at Candlestick Park. Season ticket holders would heckle him to the point of him absolutely losing his mind. He was in the Aqua Velvet TV commercials. Every time he had to take the field, entire seating sections would yell “It’s Aqua Garvey” and players in both dugouts would giggle. He’d just stare at the security guards, expecting them to do something about it. They never did.
