Authoritarian governments tend to manage their economies about as poorly as Republicans have in the modern era, which makes perfect sense when you consider that Republicans are not moved by expertise or evidence but by ideology, such as the thoroughly discredited idea that tax cuts for the wealthy will somehow “trickle down” to benefit the average Jane and Joe. And Republicans’ fallback argument that they are better with the annual deficit or the national debt is just silly. They have made both things dramatically worse, and mostly decry the national debt so they can further slash the social safety net.

  5. I saw a video of some professors getting beat up by police and the caption was “this is just a taste of Trump’s America”…

    That might very well be true. Of course, the video was taken in Biden’s America.

    I guess Biden is really trying to win over those conservative voters with this stuff. We’ll see if it works.

  6. Economic Conditions Significantly better during Trump tenure. Only thing democrats perform well is raising taxes, printing money and spending money.

  8. It’s already ruined due to Biden’s authoritarianism. But at least the left are starting to realize that planning the economy doesn’t work.
