‘There is nothing to cure’: France bans gay conversion therapy

  1. There is one thing to cure, but that’s the opinions of family/friends that would send someone to conversion therapy

  2. Who would’ve thought torture doesn’t change something that’s possibly at least partially genetic?

  3. Indeed.

It’s a scam that is actually harmful to the person that is supposed to be cured. And there isn’t anything to cure anyway. It’s like having red hair or being left handed.

  4. The key here is to manage to shut down all the conversion camps that will rename/rebrand themselves in order to stay open.

Do not allow them to exist via legal loopholes.

  5. Of Course there is nothing to cure, you are not born as gay, you choice to be one of them.

  6. I mean, it’s France. Besides baguettes, the Eiffel Tower and smoking, gay sex is the most French thing you can do. It’d be like Italy saying there is nothing to cure when talking about beautiful women and fast cars. Or the US saying there’s nothing to cure regarding blowing shit up, hamburgers and undertaxing certain economic groups.
