Just go and properly remove the dandelions and leave the rest as it is
I tend to do the middle and leave some for the bees.
Take me down to the paradise city
Where the grass is long and the bluebells pretty
I leave mine for the spring and summer for the bees, and I had about a half dozen of the fuzzy beauties flying about just this morning.
This looks like my perfect garden. I had a landlord inspection a couple of weeks ago so I had to mow it short because landlords hate bees. I had miner bees in one corner of my lawn and they were doing great, after I mowed I checked on them and they’re no longer there
Replace the grass with moss
I reckon you should give Steve a call, he can rip up of all that narsty green shite and install some proper British Astroturf m8
This is better for the environment, insects, birds, hedgehogs.. pretty much everyone except old people who think grass has to be 2mm long.
Could you dig the bulbs up and replant in the borders?
Get the scissors out instead
I’d much rather have a wildflower meadow that you cut twice a year than a boring old lawn.

Leave it to the bees.
Later in summer it will dry up anyway.
Looks great to me, proper meadow like.
