  1. Its much harder to get rid of players when you talk about needing to get rid of players. I’m sure he would like to sell 6/7 and bring in players that suit his style. Could be a difficult summer in terms of shaping the squad

  2. It’s happened already, Tottenham have broken Ange! I really like him as a manager he did well domestically with Celtic and plays easy on the eye football but he’s already going Conte style on the team. I thought they’d be really competitive at the top under Ange, didn’t think this would of been the outcome already.

  3. I know that Spurs will likely prove me wrong tomorrow when they play us but at least in the last few games I’ve seen of Spurs the goals they are conceding are more related to not being coached ie shocking marking at set pieces, death by high line etc rather than their personnel

  4. Any idea what he specifically wants ?

I’d imagine more depth defensively, are they looking for a top level forward like gyokeres ?

Edit – I use the phrase “top level” very loosely

  5. Everyone freaking out because of a run of bad form with the same squad a lot of pundits speculated could be in the relegation zone at the start of the season.

“If you subtract Harry Kane’s goals, Tottenham get relegated!”

My God. We’re having a bad spell. So are Liverpool. We’re 5th, relax. The reason Tottenham always fails is because we listen to the noise and respond by blowing things up.
