  1. It’s like more than 10 years ago already was confirmed that Kaspersky is just another department of ~~kgb~~ fsb

  2. This headline os a bit misleading. The drone technology was originally intended for search and rescue operations. It’s only natural you develop an intelligent drone to identify humans from the drone (bird’s eye) perspective.

“…Kaspersky’s neural network technology played a crucial role in developing drones capable of detecting individuals using cameras and microphones for onboard recognition.”

  3. I liked Kaspersky, but his silence spoke volumes about who he sides with, and that was enough for me to stop using their product.

  4. Oh look, the real life example of: Our enemies will create and use AI weapons.

So unfortunately we must keep up.

  5. When AI seriously outcompetes a human on the battlefield, other countries, even ones who do not wish to use AI, considering it a violation of ethics will be forced to use AI in weapon systems to defend themselves.

  6. EU should ban Kaspersky and remove it from DNS records

  7. I use to use Kaspersky anti virus, before it was banned.

  8. Welcome to the 21st century Oppenheimer moment for mankind. We know how that turned out.

  9. Sounds like Kaspersky had a little backdoor to the drone software
