Germany to speed up renewables expansion to meet climate goals

  1. I mean what other solutions do we have after we foolishly decided to get rid of nuclear energy?

Thankfully the Union is not leading anymore and we will hopefully get rid of ridiculous restrictions that prevented us to go all in on renewables

  2. >To remove a major obstacle to the more rapid progress of onshore wind, Berlin will introduce a new Onshore Wind Law that will designate 2% of the country’s area for the installation of turbines.

  3. The goal isn’t more renewables. The goal is less coal. I goddam hope those wind turbines won’t simply be added on top of the rest and we’ll see some actual coal plants getting closed.
