North Korea to chair UN disarmament forum on nuclear weapons, US & EU should walk out

  1. If people found “Don’t Look Up” to be silly, I think they should check their vision and see what is happening in the world. We do not need to invent any satire, we are living it every day of our life…

  2. Saudi Arabia and China on the Human Rights committee; North Korea on nuclear disarmament; Iraq on the Women’s committee; and so on down the line.

    What a world.

  3. I really don’t feel any way about this than I would if any other nuclear nation was heading it. North Korea correctly recognized that acquiring nuclear weapons was the only way to truly protect itself against “NATOs” “ambitions”. The old nuclear states seem to be more salty that their untouchable group of nations wasn’t as exclusive as they thought it was, more so than any actual fear of NK launching an unprovoked attack.

  4. Walking out of any forum we are displeased with means surrendering the momentum on the international stage to all those autocratic countries that make up most of the world, spearheaded by a very ambitious China.

Stick to the forum and criticize North Korea, they deserve it and will be a normal member again once the rotation goes on.

  5. It’s the UN. I consider it a good thing. What are they gonna do? Surrender to South Korea and begin the unification process?

  6. Why? There’s no better country than north korea to presiede the farce that is the nuclear non proliferation treaty.
