East Germany is a prime location for this.
Are they sure? Maybe cheap factory in China would be a better idea? Imagine how many billions they could save. Trust me, build it in China.

Last I read about it, rumours said France would get a research facility, Germany would get a chip manufacturing facility, and Italy would get a chip packaging facility.
Hmmm a large fine got revoked and suddenly they’re “investing“ again?
