The Demographic Transformation of the United Kingdom (mostly about england tho). What is your opinion about this. I honestly feel we have integrated immigrants much better than most European countries. The population will continue to increase (can be good and bad)

If assimilation is the goal, we’ve done far worse than EU nations, with some exceptions like Sweden.

There are entire parallel enclaves in major cities like Newham, Alum Rock, Manningham etc, with absolutely abysmal socioeconomic levels. At least the French give a damn about their culture and somewhat try to preserve it, though they face similar issues to us.

Overall, there’s nothing particularly positive to say about idea of the country becoming the English speaking version of Brazil.

  2. As long as they’re successfully integrated then it’s fine. I really think we need more types of laws and protections to preserve modern British values and culture along with mandatory and actually fucking useful Integration classes for all immigrants whether legal or illegal. If they’re found to not fit in with our values like having relatively secular state, lgbt rights, women and men equality then deport. But doesn’t look like we’ll have a government that cares about the British people any time soon.

  3. Whilst immigration isn’t necessarily a bad thing there’s too much immigration, particularly from cultures which don’t share virtually any British values. Our record on deporting those who come and commit crimes is atrocious!

  4. Bradford, Leeds, Birmingham, Bolton and Blackpool would all disagree on that. They’re practically micronations with how segregated minorities are there. There is no such thing as British culture in there anymore, nor British values.

The deprivation levels there only add to the ghetto vibe of it.
