    at least this was one of the selling point of eu in finland, protection from big bullies.

  3. Nonsense. China can only pick small countries and target them individually. They do not even admit that what they do is trade war because they fear joint response. Which gives collaborator countries inside EU way to put hands off of it and pretend like nothing is happening. When Trump put tariffs on EU goods then he did it against entire block non discriminately which is why there was also joint response.
