Russia-Ukraine War Update / April 30, 2024 / Ukraine Launched More ATACMS Towards Russian Bases!
hey guys Chris car and I’m Ukrainian Canadian today is April 30th 2024 and let’s get to the news happening in Ukraine shall we so we’re going to do a quick update a few news updates and we’re going to go over the map first of all let’s talk about last night’s attack the ukrainians used again the American ballistics the attac camps to hit few Russian bases in Crimea so uh several of them were hit as you can see these are the uh bases that were targeted by the Ukrainian uh forces and all of them are part of the Russian air defense system in Crimea we know what they’re there mostly to stop or try to stop the Ukrainian attacks on the kurage bridge and also there jet fighters they are flying to hit Ukrainian positions in the South and in East so it’s a very crucial crucial um it’s crucial that Ukraine targets them continuously so again janoi Air Base was targeted this is a air base as you can see here in the north of cremia that hosts a lot of helicopters and jet fighters there’s a few bases here that have um different S Series air defense systems so we know that Ukraine mainly is doing this attacking them because they’re preparing for an eventual final blow of the kurge bridge we’ve talked about it so many times it needs to go and this needs to be the very final last attack so we can forget about that bridge and weaken the Russians by half in Crimea we’ve also talked about the fact that the Russians still have a connection from Crimea to ROV but this is a more dangerous connection they’ve built this Railway line but it’s going to be much closer to the actual front line and the ukrainians will have more Fire Control rather than trying to reach the kurage bridge which is twice if not three times further away from the front lines so um this is a juicy Target that we’re all waiting to Once wake up in the morning and see gone and again as I said it needs to be the final blow no more you know partial damages or partial destruction of the bridge it needs to be a huge span of this the a huge section of the bridge completely wiped out we’re talking about the railway Corridor and the vehicle Corridor so um we know the deadline the ukraines have set it for July 2024 that is when at the very latest we should expect this bridge to be fully destroyed and so I think that right now it’s just a planning operation the ukrainians are taking their time because you cannot rush through this it needs to be well prepared and planned so I can only hope that this operation will go successfully for the ukrainians in the meantime we will see more of these attacks as the ukrainians are trying to weaken the Russian air defenses in Crimea specifically last but not least before I go into the map uh let’s talk about the fuel problem that the Russians are now feeling and you guys already know since since the beginning of this year the Ukraine have been continuously striking Russian refineries oil Depots throughout Russia and they’ve destroyed or damaged uh several dozen refineries some of the most important ones and now the Russians are feeling it you can see that according to the political this political article that diesel prices for Russian consumers have skyrocketed Rising almost 10% in the past week that is in one week 10% increase um never seen before especially for a country that produces oil on the regular is the biggest one of the biggest oil producers in the world this is a huge deal for the Russians because they’ve been uh profiting from very low oil prices forever according to the government’s figures petrol costs have also hit a six-month high up more than 20% from the start of the year as Supply Titans the most important one is diesel because diesel is mainly used by military trucks and also tanks uh and so without diesel the Russians will have severe problems as well resupplying its forces in the front line so this is the more important fuel but also the Russian consumer that drives a petrol car will certainly feel it as well so it’s also important to notice that remember that the United States was kind of concerned and saying to Ukraine maybe should stop hitting oil refineries because well the world is very sensitive to that and despite the fact that um Ukraine has now received the approval for the military and financial assistance from the United States they continued on attacking refineries the other day in the beginning of this week Ukraine uh or I think this weekend Ukraine attacked another Russian oil refinery and several oil oil Depots uh so Ukraine continues on doing what what it believes is right and it’s a very positive sign that Ukraine is not being influenced whether it be by the United States or Europe uh to stop doing this because you can see that it is working and it will certainly influence the Russian consumer into uh questioning their special military operation at this point I believe they all understand it’s a war but um there’s going to be a lot of criticism at Putin whether it be from the regular Russian or the oligarch and Elites they’re all feeling this squeeze so it’s really really important that Ukraine continues on this strategy uh no matter what is being said by NATO countries such as the United States or Europe uh overall Ukraine is continue with this trajectory of attacking attacking attacking critical cor Russian oil infrastructure um refineries mining Industries it doesn’t matter everything that the the Moscow is using as Revenue to fund its War needs to be um attacked by the ukrainians that strategy is working so before I end this video I want to go over the map uh because there’s a few updates we need to discuss again uh we’re looking at Crimea right now but on the good side again not that it’s going to change the course of the War uh but it’s still positive to report on certain Ukraine successes because we’ve been only hearing about the Russian pushes uh but sometimes the ukrain can also pull off some successful operations now in the south of Kon you can see that there ukrainians liberated sort of sort of this Delta system of islands uh very basically close to um the the the the Black Sea and the Russians obviously didn’t have any like serious positions here but always allowed them there was Al always the threat of Russian sabotage groups landing on the right Bank of the New River and doing operations sabotage operations and also the closer the ukrain get to the Left Bank the more of a threat um there is for the Russian Artillery we know that the Russians uh continuously pound unfortunately Ukrainian positions um on the right Bank uh terrorist attacks on a daily basis on the city of hon so the ukrainians are trying to create something here uh build a buffer zone so they can drive out the Russians further away right now it’s not really going to happen I don’t believe that but uh this is still very positive development uh in the southern region in Kon specifically but we know that uh right now the Ukraine simply don’t have the resources uh to be able to create a big bridge head and transfer troops unfortunately so we’re going to have to get used to small low gains here additionally uh the other update that I needed to make is oet so we’ve talked about it unfortunately there was a partial breakthrough here in this uh area north of divka uh most of the fighting was ongoing around the village of berichi a few weeks ago uh but as of two two and a half weeks ago the Russians have broken through here uh because of a bad troop rotation and the new brigade That was supposed to replace uh the 47th Brigade that was fighting here was poorly equipped to be able to defend their positions as they were rotated here so unfortunately you can see this is the result of this um this blunder and um again the Russians are advancing but slowly this is not a breakthrough where like how within two three days the ukrainians pretty much liberated uh like this entire section right it’s it’s still a partial breakr it is still hurtful but you can see that we’re not talking about the Russians capturing all the villages um that are pretty much at the doorstep of P or constantina right this would be serious uh but this is still an era of concern for us right now however I did see a video uh along this area I believe of just huge Russian casualties and I think you guys can find it because it’s been uh released today um and I believe it’s probably along the railway line here so the Russians how do they break through is by just fall following this Railway line that heads into Chet um but along this entire section they’ve had massive casualties and you can see that video hundreds of corpses and you know when you see these types of videos and images it’s not hard uh to imagine these figures being brought by by the Ukrainian forces of a thousand plus casualties per day for the Russians they simply do not care about their losses and they’re going to continue pushing until they can so I don’t know where the culmination is going going to be of their offensive but certainly they’re going to do everything possible for this summer to have as much gains as possible because they know the ukrainians within the next few weeks are going to receive the ammunition the tanks the Bradley’s the che initiative as well is going to be initiated by June it’s been promised that uh Ukraine will receive these 1.5 million shells by June July of this year so the Russians are very well aware of this and they’re doing everything possible right now to throw as much meat as they can to gain a big chunk of this section north of adiva again their main goal right now is poov mad all these big uh cities U North ofka and also constantina CH so there’s I think this is the main offensive uh this is where the main Russian offensive will be this summer so it will get worse before it gets better for the ukrainians as I’ve mentioned my previous video it’s going to be very difficult next few months but we’re all focusing right now on the Ukrainian forces are focusing on stabilizing the line for the summer weakening the Russians through point where perhaps in uh 2025 there will be a chance for a Ukrainian offensive so All That Remains uh to be seen because it’s all based on the assumption that Ukraine will receive continuous support from its allies right which we have seen in the past is not always continuous and there’s always breaks and there’s always moments where there’s decisiveness and the ukrainians are pretty much stuck on the begging phase whereas the Russians uh let’s face it why are the Russians capable of pushing is because they’re fully supported continuously by China and Iran and North Korea there is no break with their help yeah I can say maybe China is not really fully fully supporting Russia in terms of lethal Aid AKA giving them tanks jet fighters uh you know lethal Weaponry but they’re still providing them key Goods key components key TR trade routes that the Russians are pretty much dependent on and Russia is pretty much a vassel state now of China Putin very well understands that but he doesn’t have a choice because he knows that if he stops the war right now uh he’s done right in the next few years at the latest he’s going to be done and the Russians won’t forgive him for this blunder so as you can see Russia can count on its allies whereas Ukraine still to this day is is unsure is unsure whether in 2025 the United States is still going to be committed to helping Ukraine whether in 2025 Europe is also or and NATO countries are going to be committed in helping Ukraine so that is the disadvantage so my assumptions are all based on uh The Continuous help from the uh Ukrainian allies if that isn’t the case then we’re going to be expecting more Russian pushes to try to take advantage of this um undecisive from Ukraine allies so that’s the video for today guys again I really really appreciate your help and your support for this channel um if you enjoy my content Please Subscribe uh it really helps also drive out these Pro Russian Bots and trolls and all the narratives that are being pushed out on YouTube or other social media platforms we’re strong together and that’s really important to understand again please leave me a comment about any of the topics I covered today what do you guys think about um the Russian offensive about the Ukraine capabilities for 2025 and again um I will see you guys in the next one thank you so much slav

10% hike is less than I would have expected. We used to see hikes like that in the west regularly as opec tightened output to increase prices.
I hope ur protected this air defense system', patriot system', ATACMS,Himars, etc it's ur secret weapon, if u operating this system' put arround the air defense the protector like gepard and anti drone, every ur movement u Must always have anti drone and Anti missile system arround it. Slava Ukraine
I have also been extensively studying the Ukraine Russia war. Why is it that I study the same information as you do and do not come up with the same results? First off I ashamed that a fellow Canadian distorts facts like This. It is something I don't like to see. Let me take apart some of your arguments. First off the Ukrainians do not have the capability to seriously degrade the Russian air defenses. The s400's have managed to shoot down about 80% of the ATCMs. That is a very poor performance for these missles. What people do not realize or don't want to realize is these missles use a ballistic trajectory and are easier to shoot down. The S400's were designed to shoot them down. My guess is the Russians have put in a massive layered defense. Good luck getting through these modern air defense with 25 year old technology missles that are not even long range cruise missiles. The Taurus missles would have a better chance to get through. If the Ukrainians saturate the Crimea defense defense systems maybe. I Think it would be very difficult to achieve any level of massive damage with outdated missles using a ballistic trajectory. Even if they somehow manage to damage the Crimea bridge, Russia still can supply Crimea with commercial ships in the black Sea road and rail links. Military SUPPLY will not be affected at all. It appears to me that the Americans are pissed off they are losing and are throwing a Tantrum and trying to destroy anything they can just to embarrass Putin. You don't think this will cause a absolutely massive retaliation from Russia? My guess is you can kiss goodbye the bridges over the dniper river. These bridges by the way are very important for Military supplies to Eastern Ukraine. Unlike the Crimea bridge which the Russians no longer use for military supplies. So it's basically a civilian bridge. You are advocating blowing up a civilian bridge that has really no military or strategic value. Just incedible. Your data on the shortages in diesel and price changes in Russia are inconsequential. You fail to mention that Russia has a lot of redundancy in oil production and the damage that Ukraine is causing with their crude drones is minor and declining as Russia gets better defenses. Ukraine is heading for a Major defeat and there is NOTHING the west can do to stop it. Facts are facts. don't bother sending me comments on this. That goes for everyone here. I will just delete the comments. This is the last time I will ever be on this channel I garantee it. I just saw this and got a little upset that a fellow Canadian would try to sell propoganda like this. Get your head on straight.
Tell me how does this help Ukrainians troops on the front line
get that bridge!
Russia can't fight without fuel. Ukraine needs to check that off the list. Number one priority.
BULL SHIT
We’re hearing there is a Canadian version of isolationist MAGA. What would that be called? MCGA? How big a threat is this? In the USA 🇺🇸 State of Ohio we have a Ukrainian Representative from Chernihiv who has gone full MAGA, because that’s what the Republican Party has become in Ohio. All the normal conservative Republicans are either falling in line or leaving the Party. Could that happen in Canada 🇨🇦 too?
As far as you comments on attacking Russian oil. The USA did not condemn or say No attacks, they merely said they do not condone/approve these attacks. This is posturing for the global community. I have no insight as to why, but I assume NATO does not want to enter wars where Oils supplies are fair game. I have heard you make similar comments on other topics. This is your channel. I would listen more if you did not go off on rants that are falsely based. Otherwise good work. Free Ukraine!
What damage did ATACMS cause ????
Nothing worth reporting ???
Anyway thanks for the concern for Russia.
Question.
Since Feb 22 Russia must have fired at least 8 million shells plus thousands of drones and missiles and airforce fab bombs rockets flame throwers mortars so what are the casualties figures of Ukraine.
Before you make an excuse for the Ukraine Military know that I am behind the Ukraine military and its people 100%. This is something that had not been addressed and all you hear about the blame and problem. 2008 Georgia was attacked by russia. The world did nothing. This is after a russian failed invasion of Afghanistan, then Chechenia two times in the 1990'-2000. After that it was 2008 invasion of Georgia. England, America, russia create a protection deal for Ukraine with Putler to get the former Soviet Union states Nuclear Weapons. And they were promised protection from anyone by England, America, and russia. 2014 russia creates political upheavals that NATO, EU, UN. failed to recognize the stolen russian Ukraine land. Now in all those years of fighting from 2014 until 2022. That is 12 years. In that 12 years time you never thought to create jobs by building fortifications to protect Eastern Ukraine? You never at any point thought a fortified cities and critical infrastructure or at least create fall back positions into your battle plans?
Why did it take 1 1/2 year to choose to create fortifications? If you have a dam and a crack of water starts to show would you not check on it a while later at the very least before it failed? Why not use Scorched Earth tactics deny the enemy food, comforts, drink, or anything from the land destroy it all. Because if you allow them to digin you think you have a fight now. Oh know! not unless you take out logistics. Happens those Wagner fighters found one of the largest Soviet Union stockpiles in Bakhmut and in the tunnels in Soladar. America did the very same thing Ukraine is doing now. Measuring the war in body count. Did you know that under 58,500 troops were killed in the entire Vietnam war. Now of those more than 1,000,000 were wounded in someway or another.
The only difference was America killed from Vietnam's numbers 444,000 to 666,000 soldiers and another 1.3 Million civilians. russia is currently at just under 500,000 KIA. This is only year 2. Vietnam and American was was 1964 until 1975.
thanks
I'm appalled that BRIDGE…….HAS NOT BEEN PERMANENYLY-DROPPPED!!!!..lol
Дякую за Вашу роботу!
Україна переможе.
Slava Ukraini from Germany!
😀
I love Ukrainie
Thanks Chris a good constructive presentation! from OZ
Dude… your pronunciation of atacms is weird. This is how to do pronounce it “attack- oms.” Dude Ukraine already received weapons. What are you talking about? 🤦♂️🤦♂️
“ATACMS” is pronounced “Attack-ems”
The only consequence that could cause real problems is if this affects the fuel price, inflation enough in the U.S to make it harder for Biden to be re-elected – which he isn't – that is the end of any U.S support.
Not sure it's wise for Ukraine to state their deadline for demolishing the bridge…
So funny that the 2nd most powerful army in the world can only advance a few metres when Ukraine is low on ammunition.
Europa should be ashamed!!!
great move..

Ya Nick also enjoy your life. Please say hello to Elvis is your alternate reality universe. You know the one where Ukraine is winning the war, Russia is losing more troops than UKRAINE and Zelensky is not a completely incompetent idiot who is almost single handly losing the war on his own. As the Russians say "thank god our enemies are so stupid".
Your defence is terrified, Kerch bridge on fire na na na na na na, na na na na na na na
Russian military will not run out if diesel for two reasons. 1. RU military will always have priority acces to diesel. 2. Ru produces much more diesel than it consumes. Issues could arise for petrol. Petrol is much shorter in supply and RU might be forced to import petrol, which could be expensive. It could also affect morale of the population if prices rise. Petrol is also relevat for the economy. At least in the past, a large share of small trucks was using petrol in RU. Diesel eas really reserved for heavy duty.
I think what the guy is saying that the U.S.A. are a bunch of unreliable wimps that are good at talking and playing basketball.
Even when you do the fighting for them they tie your hands behind your backs.
You must be making a lot of sense. The trolls from st. Petersburg are furious, judging from the comments.
Why didn't you tell the people that all them Ukrainian missiles got shot down
