It IS cheaper. Imagine how cheap they could make it if they didn’t spend money making a red sign too.
I took a photo of the same thing last week. It happens sometimes in Lidl, these bullshit promos to pretend they’re doing something.
They’re making red labels do people’s eyes are attracted to it.
Other examples I saw:
* Giving reductions on their app for things they haven’t stocked in local stores in many moons.
* Giving a reduction for 2 items of X kg, but when you actually buy a regular item than 2X kg, it’s cheaper. Saw this with 500gr of yogurt buckets Vs 1kg yoghurt buckets.
