Author, poet, book collector (100.000 books!), TV host Boudwijn Büch had an obsession for Filfla.
He landed by helicopter on Filfla on 15 November 1988. This was broadcast on Dutch TV in The World of Boudewijn Büch S01E06: From Malta to Filfla (25 December 1988). (full episode is on Youtube – it’s in Dutch though)
He wrote four books on remote islands. And he wrote 33 pages on Filfla in the book “Eenzaam” (translates to: “Lonely”) published 1992.
