Scottish Labour would wipe the floor with the SNP if they even pretended to diverge from the Westminster party. But they won’t.

Norstat interviewed 1,086 people aged 16 or over in Scotland between April 30 and May 3.
Instead of celebrating, unionists should actually check out the poll and its ’statistical significance’.
This poll is laughable, with ‘weighted samples’ based on tiny demographics.
Remember, similar ‘polls’ had reform as a serious contender in the last English council elections, and they failed miserably.
I think this is a bit low, to be honest. 25 would be more believable.
But whatever, it will definitely be their worst performance at any contest since 2010. All the _serious_ polls have converged there – and by “serious” I disregard that Billy Coull work of fiction showing them retaining 41. That one had Western Isles as SNP hold despite every other poll having it flipping Labour since 2021 or so.
It is looking very much like the Lib Dems will be the third party at the HoC. We all know what Skeletor and chums will have to say on that.
