  1. I mean…yeah. like…nobody is exterminating anti-vaxxers. We call them dumb and stupid but…not like people are actively plotting to kill them. It’s insensitive for people to even try to compare vaccines to the holocaust. And disrespectful.

  2. >The internal instructions by Berlin’s police antisemitism commissioner follow a verdict by a city district court, which came into effect in October, that charged a 56-year-old man with incitement to hatred. The man was convicted after spreading a Facebook post displaying a yellow star marked with the inscription “unvaccinated,” and a heading that read: “the hunt for humans can now start again.”

So, not out of the blue.Good on the court for recognizing this crap as unacceptable.

  3. >Additionally, demonstrators drawing other analogies regarding the persecution of Jews and the Holocaust can now also face legal jeopardy, according to Berlin’s public prosecutor’s office. Deemed “secondary antisemitism,”

    Wtf?

  4. It’s stupid comparaison, but I’m far more afraid from gouvernement dictating how you can express your opinion about the Covid restriction. And even more afraid from all redditors wanting have a penal response.

    Free speech is really dead.

  5. I know denying the Holocaust is a crime in Germany, but I didn’t realise just being a bit tone-deaf and making a shitty comparison was too.

  6. As much as I think the whole Covid thing has nefarious reasons related to it (no, I don’t think it’s a hoax) the use of yellow stars is quite out of order and very disrespectful in this context.

  7. Ouf…I’m in Canada and people have done this here. I haven’t seen them with my own eyes but if I ever did, I think it would push me to violence.
