  1. How many times has data been deleted, obfuscated or edited.

Every few years a scandal happens, shows corruption, and they’re just the ones we find out about.

And yet majority still trust the government and think it has checks and balances and if anything was amiss, evidence would just materialise, despite history showing repeated corruption and arse covering.

Just winds me up how so many still trust the government and institutions.

  2. Needs to be a precedent (case) set when it comes to this sort of thing happening. Historically (private sector, civil service) it’s the middle management-types that get the physical act of shredding implemented.

Would just take prosecuting one of them to the fullest extent of the law (the next, inevitable, time this sort of government fuck-up happens or another Enron) to put the fear of Christ in everyone else.

  3. The report is coming out in the 20th. It sounds like it’s going to be an absolute shit show. I really hope the families get closure and the compensation they deserve.

  4. Well at least they didnt store it in whatsapp and accidentally wipe the device.
