I think this shows that the way to win trophies requires smart management and good fundamentals. Clubs like Chelsea and United have 0, absolutely no reason, to bitch about the money that City can spend in transfer windows. United and Chelsea have spent more money buying players. It’s just that United and Chelsea have terrible management that waste talents (United with players like Antony, Sancho, Casemiro and Chelsea with players that don’t live up to the pricetag like Caicedo, Koulibaly, Cucurella). It’s so nice having a bunch of back room staff at City that knows wtf they are doing, expect for signing Kalvin Phillips.
