Russia is advancing rapidly in eastern Ukraine Vladimir Putin’s troops are capturing and gaining territory every day the tempo of the battlefield has picked up after a quiet winter Ukrainian troops are retreating in large numbers and Vladimir zensi is worried about a collapse NATO is rushing the deliveries of missiles that will defend keev as the Western Security block braces for more aggression from Putin one nation has begun its rise as a military power Poland Poland has recently requested to host nuclear weapons of NATO allies this is part of the security Block’s nuclear sharing Doctrine it allows non-nuclear members to hold weapons of mass destruction belonging to nuclear NATO Powers currently among NATO allies only the United States the United Kingdom and France possess nuclear weapons however under the nuclear sharing Doctrine some nukes are also stationed in Germany Italy Belgium the Netherlands and turkey now Poland wants a piece of the pie and if Warsaw gets to host nuclear weapons then it would be the most aggressive and dangerous move by NATO so far because For the First Time Ever NATO’s nuclear weapons would be at moscow’s doorstep that’s because Russia’s kinen Brad is sandwiched between NATO allies Poland and Lithuania and waso getting nukes means trouble for Putin you know perfectly well that Russia has been relocating its weapons and Military reinforcing its kenrad Enclave for years it is not a secret to anyone among others scand Rockets have been relocated there over the years there is probably a Russian nuclear weapon there therefore it is Russia breaking the international treaties on spreading nuclear weapons it is Russia who today relocates its nuclear weapons to bellarus therefore I have no doubt the reaction from NATO countries is necessary we need an adequate answer and therefore I think that the whole NATO area should be tightly protected with nuclear weapons and therefore I think that the nuclear sharing program should be extended to the countries on NATO’s Eastern [Applause] flank Poland’s NATO buddies are in complete support of stationing nuclear weapons next door to Russia the idea of deploying nuclear weapons is not warmongering it’s not a threat to Russia but it’s the same element of deterrent system which is supposed to be a really significant deterrent and a force Moscow has called warsaw’s move a suicidal act it feels like Warsaw is manically striving to attract even more attention from military planners in the Russian general staff as you understand it is not difficult to assume that in the event of the appearance of American nuclear weapons on polish territory the corresponding objects would immediately replenish the list of legitimate targets for defeat in the event of a direct military confrontation with NATO Poland also justifies its requirement for nuclear weapons because Belarus has Russian nukes last year Putin gave his dear friend Alexander lucenko the button for some of 600,000 troops the ground forces include more than 600 tanks and 700 artillery systems Poland has almost 90 fighter jets including the American F-35 stealth fighter jet and to secure the Seas warsa has a sizable naval fleet of 40 warships Poland has been the guardian of NATO’s Eastern flank keeping Russia at Bay for years so as the Polish Air Force we don’t feel that we are alone that’s so important for all Poland for eastan Baltic countries Romania Bulgaria everybody who is at the edge of that [Music] conflict NATO members have repeatedly acknowledged the military muscle that Poland brings to the table and now they want to do more to strengthen the Eastern flank Britain even wants to deploy its prized Euro Fighter typhoons to Poland’s air bases uh I can also announce that next year we will be deploying RAF typhoons here as well emphasizing how important we take this issue and we want to help police Poland Skies air defense is critical and the UK wants to support Poland and work closely with you to do that uh we’re also deploying over 16,000 troops here as part of the NATO exercise steadfast Defender so I’m proud that the UK is a partner of Poland and remains at the heart of European security and across Europe I think Poland and the UK are part of a growing wave of countries that are taking greater responsibility for our collective security Poland spending more of its GDP on defense than any NATO Ally in Europe [Music] with Ukraine on the verge of collapse NATO’s best bet is to beef up warsaw’s defenses and make it the first line of defense against Putin’s expansionist plans and if Poland gets its way with nuclear weapons nothing will stop it from becoming the next Rising power in Europe [Music] [Applause] [Music] s

Polish President Andrzej Duda says Poland is “ready” to host nuclear weapons on its territory if NATO decides to reinforce its eastern flank. This would be the most dangerous move by NATO as it would put nuclear weapons in a nation that borders Russia for the first time. Poland shares a border with Russia’s satellite state Kaliningrad. Poland says it wants nuclear weapons because Russia gave nukes to Warsaw’s neighbour Belarus. Vladimir Putin says that if Poland gets nuclear weapons then they would be targeted if a conflict erupts with NATO. Meanwhile NATO members including Lithuania and the United Kingdom have come in support of putting NATO’s nuclear weapons in Poland. Only the US, UK and France have their own nuclear weapons. However, they have stationed their weapons in Turkey, Italy, Belgium, The Netherlands, and Germany. US President Joe Biden has been working closely with Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk in improving bilateral military ties as Poland remains the strongest NATO member on the Eastern flank facing Russia.
