4. considering how touchy a subject this is in Argentina this is a significant thing for him to say.

8. There will be a few British folk a bit disappointed by this. But he can be written off as a loony libertarian so it won’t matter much.

9. If you listen to everything Milei has said on the issue it becomes pretty apparent that it’s really not a significant part of his agenda. With his recent cozying up towards the USA with the announcement of a joint naval base in Patagonia, it’s pretty clear there’s nothing much to worry about under him (as far as the Falklands are concerned).

10. I expect he is busy producing their first budget surplus in 16 years.

11. Clever from him. Knowing that the UK is desperate for trading deals after Brexit, he opened a door to explore it.
