Let’s see how much content we can milk from poor refereeing instead of addressing the chronic issues that mean our officials are totally inept.
They’re being all “were transparent and stuff!” Whilst every time we see what they’re saying and doing it’s absolutely terrible!
I have no issue with this. The way players were swearing and acting towards refs was and is disgusting and no way to set an example for kids.
But they need to sort out the amount of clangers they make and own up when they fuck up.
The value of this will heavily depend upon where the camera is positioned. If it’s on their face, we’ll be able to see what view they have of incidents – if it’s a chest cam, all we’ll get is the view of a 4 foot 9 referee looking in the wrong direction, since a chest cam doesn’t follow neck rotation.
What’s the point in this if they’re not going to broadcast it live or in full- they’ll cherrypick the parts where the ref did something well or was under fire from players and ignore the calls the ref clearly didn’t get right

Like the sidemen charity match?
wear mic too
Why? To watch man utd closer? If anything i want to zoom out.
I actually don’t think this is a horrible idea. I could give better view of plays for V.A.R. And it can help the ref ultimately be safe, verbally safe at least.

Cant wait to concede a controversial penalty in the 90+ minute to bump up the views. Look at the ref who will be reffing the match today, its going to happen
Oh great close ups of Bruno’s moaning rat face for 90 + minutes 🐀
Audio should be broadcast live like rugby this is basic stuff
