Norwegian Consumers Ditch Red Meat After Carbon Footprint Is Printed On Oda Grocery Receipts

  1. Good news for the environment, but health wise gotta wonder what is considered red meat there. I mean we all know beef etc, BUT the meat most prevalent in Europe and also somewhat controversial is pork. Most qualify it as red meat. But producers do not. Or not all cuts. And fund vast propaganda pieces. And on a health level pork cuts are often worse than beef. Sooo… the question is what are people now buying. Cause if it’s poultry instead of pork/beef it’s good, but if it’s pork instead of beef? Might help the environment, but won’t help consumers and the healthcare system…

  2. Gotta love the Norwegians. Sitting on a vast national sovereign wealth fund built on the sale of fossil fuels but won’t eat a steak because of carbon footprint.

No one does self-referential hypocrisy quite like them.
