It’s not about the size of the boat that counts it’s about the sizeof the navy that counts.
Just taking a shortcut
I love how it tries to glorify with the size, like being small or having bigger guns matters here.
Nobody wants an accident.
And the size of the boat is relevant how, exactly? Except to make for a nice propagandist headline.
It could be a RN RHIB and the same point would be made, the size of the vessel doesn’t matter
I was readying myself with a cuppa for an action thriller read, picturing a small Royal Navy boat dodging a larger Spanish warship’s cannons as it takes evasive maneuvers off the coast of Gibraltar whilst making course for a counter strike in the top gun equivalent of the seas.
Much to my dissapointment, turns out it’s just a propaganda headline and all that happened was an ally’s navy boat came for a close up check of another boat and off it went on it’s merry way.
Not really need a heavy warship like HMS Dragon on station.
Its Spain. The last serious direct attempt to take the rock was 17-1800 i think…
We play a few games but its not like a heavily contested and tense situation.
At the most we probably rib them, they rib us, no harm done.
If two NATO states attack each other, what would be obligations of other NATO states?
