What is the objection against joining?
Still don’t see it happening in either Finland or Sweden within the next 10 years, unless Russia gets really funky. Not popular enough at the moment imo. Similar to Scottish Independence, there might be certain time periods where support increases strongly, but I wonder how much of this will wane over time.
All of Europe outside of Russia should be in NATO
There’re at least two crisises here:
1. Moskovite’s dictatorship ruling crisis whichPutin tries to distract public attention from.
2. Putin’s fear or intel on coming sanctions he bargains to prevent by raising stakes.
It’s more NATO who’s doing it, there’s nothing new from Russia. The “If you join it will be problematic” statements from Russia are the same old as always.
I wonder why NATO care so much about Sweden and Finland joining, why does it matter?
Putin is the best salesman the NATO ever had. Even hard to get customers change their mind already when he threatens to visit.
