I like to believe I’m fairly well informed about these things but can somebody please enlighten me what his strategy was because I honestly don’t know.

Ah well, catastrophic failure on the cards
Disappointing but expected, given his hands are tied by a Conference decision. He should come out against the policy and say he’ll try convince the membership for a different approach come their autumn conference
It’s almost like the politicians know there is no magic bullet to make independence happen any time soon, without at the very least moving the polls somewhat.
A majority of seats isn’t going to work.
It needs to be a majority of votes. Can’t argue against 50%+ percent of Scots wanting to go.
