Russian helicopter attacks Ukraine sea drone – but finds it has a missile to defend itself

[Music] [Music] [Applause] what you see when you look around in the shadows you would think the light could be found see I see cre really the Le bring his masterp alive all the shadow glimp scatter is and together to the AR of tell the story is alive everything goodes from saice and acoss everywhere the talking the he’s there e [Music] n a US Soldier has been detained in Russia this apparently happened the last few days the reporting is he had been stationed in Korea travel to Russia on his own he’s been accused of some sort of theft um are is the administration aware of this report yes what can you tell us about what happened I can’t really say much about it right now Jonathan I hope you can understand that and certainly it’s a a better question put to our DOD colleagues but we are aware of this case he [Music] J e [Music] three fore spee for p [Music] reports uh coming out of zelinsky’s camp overnight that Ukrainian forces shot down a Russian uh su2 fighter bomber jet over the detet region these small victories are are quite good in terms of morale and propaganda for the Ukraine side well they certainly are ement in terms of the morale and morale for the Ukrainian soldiers it’s been a difficult few months for Ukraine you know you do see that they had to reduce the mobilization age to 25 there is of course talk of or certainly videos of soldiers who are mobilizing others using violence and that’s reprehensible but unfortunately the morale has been affected I think the deputy minister of the ministry of Defense said as well that the defense Ministry is now one of the most hated institutions in Ukraine so it is certainly important Ukraine is holding the line Russia has yes it’s made incremental gains but it has been very slow it is Ukraine is holding the line as much as it is has the capacity to do so hopefully the American and European Aid will come through in the near future that will start to filter in round about now possibly the coming into the uh end of May beginning of June and so the G the game will change again but Ukraine by having incre by having small victories is able eventually to bleed Russia dry and we’ve seen that in regards to the Black Sea as well Ukraine has done very well effectively without some Navy in terms of pushing the Russians back to no RIS uh away from Crimea and in terms of shooting down planes and in terms of holding the these are small victories but they’re very useful for the morale of the Ukrainian Army and for propaganda as well in terms of bring getting the morale up for ukrainians in general

  3. I bet the Russian chopper pilot had to change his underwear! It’s the first time a Ukrainian sea drone was design to shoot and kill an aircraft! He couldn’t runway or the R-73 heat seeker would have gotten him. He had to hope he didn’t run out of gas before the sea drone!

  8. Since decades we constantly hear this verbal threats from the Kremlin and quite frankly getting used to them.
    Maybe one day the Russians will also learn to leave people around them alone, just like Europeans left Russia alone after „we“ all agreed on the UN charters about territorial integrity and sovereignty of sovereign nations.

    Just stop this madness and enjoy your own vast territory, nobody will care what Russia does within their borders.

  13. Ukraine will refine the technology. This is valuable learning data. AI vision targeting and launch could help along with a swivel base on the missile launcher, so that the drone doesn't have to reposition itself to get a clear shot at the aircraft. Not a huge technical obstacle. Just a little bit of electrical and computer engineering ???

  16. In land war that all these sea activities have almost on relevance. Maybe it is smart planning by UK to take out most of the landing ships in black sea fleet to prevent landing in Odessa. But who knows maybe Russians never even planned to carry out a landing in Odessa, so UK got so much involved for tiny benefit, but great risk of getting attacked in return.

  34. After 20+ years of The Putz's corrupt rule I doubt very much if any of his nukes even work.
    All of those under him do their utmost best to make money on the side,
    and that would include selling ANYTHING they can get away with selling, like fuel (replaced with water).
