Ukraine Foils Russian Attempt to Assassinate Zelensky!

Ukrainian sbu has exposed an absolutely bananas plot to take out the Ukrainian leader bore zinski just what exactly was the sabator plan who were they and who was behind it all it’s actually a little more complicated than you think I’m Paul US Army Combat veteran let’s get into it okay so this story I thought was interesting for a bunch of reasons uh the overall Contours are this uh the Ukrainian intelligence agents have said that they foiled a plot to assassinate Ukrainian president sininsky now the sbu the state Security Service uh sort of roughly ukraini Ukraine’s FBI uh caught what they’re calling Russian agents that were within the state guard uh plotting to kidnap and assassinate the president and other senior governmental officials the reason that I thought this was interesting is namely that they’re within this state guard I I can’t tell if this is a reference to uh like the territorial defense units um or if there’s literally like a state uh police um unit that they were within um now here’s where things get more interesting the head of the sbu said that the failed assassination attempt was supposed to be a gift to Vladimir Putin ahead of his inauguration on Tuesday and the force said they arrested two suspected moles who they believe had been recruited by Russia before its Invasion right so what they’re arguing is that they were Uh Russian sympathizers within the State security service um or the state guard excuse me uh and but this term here a gift right a gift actually gives you some interesting information about the Contours of this assassination attempt right the gift implies that it was not directly ordered by Vladimir Putin right this is like our it would be like saying that the door Dash that you ordered was someone gifting you Chipotle you didn’t get a gift from Chipotle you ordered it right so you’d be mad if it didn’t happen that’s not how a gift works so instead the idea is that Putin didn’t actually ask for this that someone else within between Vladimir Putin’s Inner Circle right below him and all the way down to these guys operating on their own someone in there wanted to do a little surprise for Putin and that itself is kind of interesting um now the sbu said that a Russian secret agent had passed on the coordin of a safe house ahead of the planned attack right so that says that the Russian state was involved this wasn’t two dudes who just were absolutely furious at zalinski um or pro-russian and sort of wanted to loan wolfit or duel wolfit or whatever um this says that the Russian state was at least willing to be involved it’s not clear though how much right they could have reached out to their Russian contact and said hey we’re going to try to take out zinski can you help us and they said yeah if you may if you survive here’s a safe house but it could be all the way up to hey you’re going to be our Lackey and here’s the plan um but the fact that the sbu said Russia actually planned to destroy all traces of the Drone used to Target the president with another missile says that this was at least at the level of Russian military High command so you see how you can kind of infer where this was possibly within the grw would be my guess um of course they said without providing evidence thanks independent uh the en they were actively developing plans to eliminate zilinski uh weird but okay um what’s fascinating is that additional T targets included The Head of the State security service you know the service that arrested them um and the head of other high- ranking officials including Carl budanov uh the Ukrainian uh head of intelligence and they said it was a very close operation and and this is something that uh is kind of a little reminiscent of the Mexican cartel violence you might recall that during the the worst periods of cartel violence one of the biggest problems that the Mexican military and police had was that they could almost never conduct an operation against cartel agents without cartel knowledge and that would be because so many police had been corrupted by the cartels were on the take so to to speak and Military that often times they would alert the cartels to the the the actions and Russia does have I I strongly suspect Russia operates in the same way there’s pretty good evidence for it the the cartels would sit there and say listen you’re a cop uh you’re a high-ranking Mexican Marine you participate in some of these raids so listen if you tell us about the raids before they happen we’re going to pay you $10,000 a month right and if you don’t tell us about a raid and it happens we’re going to kill your wife and daughter right so when you get a deal like that where the upside is a lot of money and the downside is the death of everyone you love all of a sudden the choice becomes a lot more easy to make right and so that’s probably a similar offer that Russia would make to some of its well it makes it to some of its citizens for sure participate in the Special Operation you’ll earn twice the average salary and if you don’t we’ll send you to the goog uh so I suspect these guys probably got similar offers from the Russians uh who just said listen uh you can do this um but we’ll you know and if you don’t we’ll kill you and uh look at like that pilot that defected that was pretty clear that uh even though the Ukrainian special services got him out uh got him into Spain living under a fake passport uh the Russians were like no we’re going to send a message you don’t get to take absconded with one of our aircraft and they uh made sure he was killed uh so this attack right was supposed to be a gift to Putin before the inauguration they said interestingly the sbu said this was actually a failure of Russian special services which again makes me think that it was Gru or FSB but the FSB seems to be a little more closely controlled by the Kremlin so it wouldn’t be as gift likee and and the fact it’s a failure of the special services uh the fact they had access to like military hardware and that that was a central part of the plan makes me think military so Military Intelligence like the GW um now what is also interesting is that this is part of a of course an ongoing streak um dozens of times Russia has tried to eliminate sininsky um and the Ukrainian leader said he actually had lost track the number of times moscow’s attempted to take him out right uh now here’s the thing I wanted to talk a little bit about what this means for Russia but of course if you’re looking to uh Revitalize what you need to do you don’t need to come up with some sort of hairbrain scheme with a drone and a missile and all this other stuff you know you can just get some strike gum right strike gum is inspired by my time in Afghanistan when I had to patrol in absolutely vicious Heat and the only thing I had for energy was a can of ripet which is a military issue energy drink it’s as gross as it sounds so I created strike gum it’s portable in this individual pack right there are the equivalent the caffeine equivalent of five Red Bulls five amp energies but zero sugar 100 milligrams Alpha GPC if you’re interested you can check it out on amazon.com just search for strike gum you’ll see it there thanks to the dozens of people who’ve left us five-star reviews uh and of course uh you can go to strike come.com that’s where we have our military discounts our veteran discounts all those discounts so you definitely have a lot of uh options where you can get your your caffeine fix I don’t know what else to tell you plus we actually are rolling out this is kind of a trial so if you’re interested a five pack we’ll get you five packs of strike gum uh in in a single order uh just a way if you’re like not don’t really want to go for the whole tray but you want to get you know more than just a single pack the five pack is a great way to go about it so check it out um now what do I think this whole operation means for Russia well the answer is I I don’t think it means a ton one way or the other on one hand it means that yeah Russia still has it out for zalinski uh that even though momentum is in their favor uh one of the basically it seems like Russia has begun a three-pronged strategy to try to win the war the first and least important is the actual Battlefield right because they saw when Ukraine didn’t have international support even for a couple months Russia began to make substantive gains right Tina ad diviva you saw real breakthroughs happen so Russia is going to keep the pressure on the Ukrainian forces keep grinding down men and material even if Russia is out casualty by Ukraine by some accounts around 3 to one right but the other two prongs are more important and that the the second is diplomatically isolating Ukraine this is where killing zalinski comes in and by isolating Ukraine from its allies diplomatically it means it’s going to be harder for them to push and punish Russia for its aggression right so Russian sanctions Russian uh you know preventing Russians from traveling preventing Russian businesses from earning income blocking the sale of Russian oil at least to some places all of that is helping to drain Russia’s coffers of the material they need for war and so if they can get the spigot of economic power turned back on then they’re going to be able to dominate Ukraine because remember Russia has an economy several times the size of Ukraine if it could get itself up to full cap capacity and simultaneously cut off the Diplomatic Aid that Ukraine receives it’s going to tilt the economic scales heavily in favor of Russia but the third prong is the most interesting right to me and that is Russia’s public information campaigns right Russia doesn’t want to just influence diplomacy and statecraft at the policy maker level right what they want to also do is influence the public in democracies they want to use democracy against itself and that is by spending large sums of money running large scale disinformation campaigns getting stories of dis and misinformation picked up and put into the mainstream media and getting prominent people to repeat Russian talking points a classic one is that whenever Russia raises the stakes in Ukraine or steps up or imp M new tactics or uh Russia will simply claim that it’s just fighting the war but when an ally does it Russia will claim that it’s a dangerous escalation so whenever Ukraine gets support from one of their allies Russia frames it as a as a dangerous escalation regardless of what’s happening on the battlefield right literally Russia called Aid to Ukraine recently this today earlier today I did a video where he said uh this is a dangerous escalation of this conflict despite the fact that Russia is the one winning on the battlefield so by evening the playing field it’s not escalating it’s de-escalating things by ensuring a continued stalemate and so that’s the kind of backwards logic in Russian talking points the other one is NATO aggression that somehow NATO allowing which Ukraine was not close to being a NATO member no one in NATO Ukraine was not about to become a NATO remember and so this argument about Ukraine was was somehow uh like NATO some sort of NATO aggression just doesn’t make any sense especially given the fact that if that were true Putin would obviously have identified that the invasion of Ukraine would be more likely to bring other countries into the NATO sphere right which we saw through the uh I think it’s Finland and Sweden that off join NATO but even more significant you got to ask yourself why didn’t Russia have the same reaction to Estonia a border country to lvia becoming a NATO member Lithuania right there’s so many of these other Russian bordering countries that became members of NATO that why would Ukraine be the trigger right it doesn’t make any sense it it only makes sense because it’s a Russian talking point and again Putin was asked about it tuer Carlson asked Putin explicitly is this about NATO aggression Putin was like no it’s not but the reason is they’re trying to tell these lies to the west and to in order to create a vocal minority that oppose Ukrainian Aid that’s part of that public uh propaganda arm of the Russian State and they believe that if they can change the electorate of these countries if they can diplomatically isolate Ukraine then the battlefield GS will happen and killing zalinsky was a core part of that anyway guys that’s all I had a huge thank you as always to the members of combat vet 1. No body believes Russia isn't the aggressor, they taken over too many places!
We seem to keep forgetting Ukraine has one of the 5 largest offshore oil fields on the globe! Oil! Oil! Oil! Coal! Food! Natural resources is why Russia wants Ukraine, everything else is a big RED smoke screen!

  2. Lol, I think you are lost combat veteran, Putin does not need to assassinate him, as Putin obviously winning. BUT, guess who want to get rid of Clownski!? That's right! Ukrainian people, as they don't want to be send to obvious death by clown government! Everyone knows that Ukraine is about cease to exist and the person who has done it President Clownski! Do the math

  3. that helicopter pilot wasn't very smart and integrated with the local russian community and made himself a target

  4. It was Ole bone spur Donnie trying to get back in good with sugar daddy Vladamir…
I mean look, it was about as successful as any other scheme by the orange defendant…

  5. The Russians don't realize there are way more people loyal to zelensky than they can corrupt. There will always be someone watching everyone else's movements around him!

  6. There is a mountain of evidence proving that he’s stolen valor in these videos he does all you have to do is listen to him talk. And the most scathing of evidence is the fact that he able to besmirch the hood name of Rip It. No self respecting soldier would ever do that.

  7. Sounds more like a CIA operation if true as zelinsky has by now out lived his usefulness to his western masters as Russia slowly making gains on the battlefield west are getting desperate

  8. I can already see the ukrobots of this channel saying Chasiv Yar was of no strategic importance when it gets captured by Russia 😂

  9. Most Americans don’t know anything about Russias history or foreign policy. The comments here is showing me how ignorant and stupid people are believing this bull💩get a 🧠🤮🤮🤮🇺🇸🇺🇸

  10. America has started 44 wars and killed millions of innocent people since the end of WW 2 and what have you accomplished? Nothing just remember the VIETNAM war and on and on it goes🤮🤮🤮🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  11. 😂 Bro, I just laughed at Ukrainian Denys Davidov for calling Volodymyr Zelenskyy “Vladimir” and you go and call him “Voldomor(t)”?? 😂

  12. So Putin is saying it's OK to kill the leaders of counteries. He might want to think twice about that. He took a swing at Zelenskyy so ugh, where's this going?

  13. My guess as to why Ukraine was different (analyst approach) would be money, geopolitics and Crimean ports. Russian oil and gas was Ukraines bread and butter, Russian oil and gas is Russias bread and butter, the Crimean ports are critical to Russian geopolitics and the geography connecting Ukraine to Russia is not very defensible (Ukraine highly desirable as a buffer, nazi Germany went through Ukraine. It can be argued that the CIA lead a couple detat of the pro Russian government previously to create pro western or pro NATO sentiment (if that was the will of the people it should be respected but the argument is it was a western lead operation) and if that was the case (IF, I've seen enough evidence to make it plausible) it would make the opposing government (Russia) wonder what it was for and what it was meant to lead to. The Russian argument is the promise of NATO to not consume old soviet block countries and they did, the difference in reaction (for Ukraine) is the above mentioned issues.
