In fact, I had amazing dishes when I was living in Finland and Norway. God I miss salmiak so much I could sacrifice my first born son for some pastillen right now.
I’m good with German food as well, especially Bayern food. You can’t really go wrong with the combo meat-and-potatoes.
To me, food is joy no matter what, and if my EU friends enjoy it I’ll never turn down trying even the most exotic and messed up flavor combinations.
