  1. Gross

Edit: reminder to everyone don’t downvote the post, that just buries it and means less people will see it

  2. These teams should be named and shamed like the others mentioned in the article.

Powerful men abusing women and getting away with it is unfortunately not uncommon and it’s sickening that it’s as blatant as this.

Edit: United chose not to sack him, despite the overwhelming evidence that he’s a rapist, and wanted to reintegrate him into the squad, but backed down when fans and people within the club were rightfully outraged.

    >United abandoned plans to reintegrate Greenwood into their first team squad last summer in the wake of a fierce public and internal backlash and subsequently loaned him to Getafe.

Getafe also want to keep the rapist they have playing for them but don’t have the money for his large fees and large weekly wages,

    >Getafe would like to keep Greenwood for another season but a large fee coupled with the player’s £75,000-a-week wages is beyond their financial capacity.

As per the article, the other clubs apparently ok with employing a rapist are Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Juventus and Lazio as well as “other Spanish suitors” and also other “clubs in Germany and Italy.”

  3. I’m sure this will lose momentum when the clubs are named and shamed. He can fuck right off.

  4. Sorry we got no striker for sale but we do have a rapist for sale

  5. Who’s broke with no commercial appeal and few sponsors in the PL? Genuinely can’t figure out which teams it would be.

  6. Arsenal don’t seem to have a problem playing similar players

  7. Arsenal maybe? They don’t mind a rapist.

Hopefully not us, we rightfully get stick about the owners, but I pay my money to watch our players perform the sport we love on the pitch at the end of the day.

Signing a rapist, or playing one after it’s known would be a real conflict of interest for me, not being able to fully support the team we put on the pitch every week would be sickening. Hope the day doesn’t come.
