i dont think the author understands how a coalition works in germany.
more debt or not, taxes up or down and such stuff may be technically the job of the finance ministry, but in reality will those topics be directly negotiated between the parties long before anyone claims the finance ministry job. it matters who gets the job but for most topics only in details not for the general direction.
also iam 100% sure that the finance ministry goes to the fdp and there wont be any tax raises or new debt. i cant imagine a traffic light coalition in any other way.
