Back to face masks and introduce coronapass for all of Belgium till we have the virus really under control.
And most important give a number of infections that we need to go down to and these restrictions will be lifted. Higher than that number and they are back.
This is clear for everyone and stops politicians from hesitating because they are afraid of losing votes in coming elections.

Als ik zo de feedback lees op andere “nieuwsitems” zoals het laagste nieuws zal een deel van de weners en bleiters nu thuis blijven omdat een paar minuten in een winkel een masker opzetten teveel moeite is, wat ook een verlaging in sociale contacten zal opleveren ergo minder verspreiding van het virus.
Edit* aan de downvotes te zien zitten er hier ook genoeg weners die het erg vinden om eens aan hun medemens te denken. Veel plezier met het dragen voor de rest van 2021, ik ga er geen traan om laten.
Considering some hospitals are being overrun it makes sense to get back to strict measures.

This only makes sense if hospitalisations go up significantly.

Me and my wife kept wearing it. First because it was clear Corona still isn’t full under controle yet. Second, because it made us feel safer as we don’t know who got vaccinated and who didn’t.

Nu creëer je het gevoel dat alles kan aan de ene kant, maar aan de andere kant moet je toch steeds opletten voor het virus en zijn (administratieve) gevolgen.

Y no I made a bet with a few friends back in August/September that this was going to happen again. Not because I want it to but because I know the people in charge are utterly, horrendously incompetent and care more about the political games than national health…

Anyone think there can be limitations to travelling inside the EU to Belgium?
I was always for masks and lockdowns, but now that almost everyone has had 2 vaccines we should really let go and return to normal. The alternative is that this insanity lasts for 10 more years. Which is extremely unacceptable to me.

i’ve been wearing them through the time it was allowed to not wear them. Did people suddenly forget the last 2 years? bunch of retards act like covid isn’t a thing anymore and you can just do whatever.
Isn’t it time to just bite the bullet and let the virus run its course ? The vaxxed will have a better chance of survival . And maybe that way we will become immune and be done with it ? I mean do measures actually work or do they just delay the inevitable ? I think we all will get Corona sooner or later . So better brace for impact ?
This morning at the bakery, I was waiting outside until it was my turn. I go in, start ordering, look back, 7 people are breathing down my neck, of which two are coughing non-stop. Social distance = 0. No masks of course. It wasn’t even raining of freezing cold outside.
Look this isn’t even about masking or vaccines. If people behave like stupid cattle, we’re fucked with COVID.
Was fun while it lasted, but working in retail and see people hugging you and vomit in your face wasn’t.
Enforce the CovidSafe ticket and make those who refuse to get vaccinated suffer. (I feel sorry for those who can’t get vaccinated due to medical reasons though, a solution must be found for them too..)
What a great time to walk around with a broken nose. The few hours I have to be inside at work are allready agony as the mask rests on the broken part.
Said it months ago, getting rid of it was gonna turn out to be mistake. Any mildly informed person could see it coming.
You don’t want a shot in your arm? Fine, go stand against that wall and take a shot to the head.
I am just really hoping that they will make teleworking mandatory again so I don’t have to go to the office.
I still don’t understand why the politicians in Flanders were so eager to get rid of masks in stores etc. It’s no big deal, it’s easy, compliance was ok, and even if it only helps a bit, it’s still a win.
