China blasts Chang’e-6 spacecraft to far side of moon

[Music] spee foree foree fore well that is just extraordinary to see that is a Luna launch going to the dark side of the moon sent by China hoping to bring samples back down to earth

We have lift-off!

Chang’e-6’s mission will last for around 53 days and will collect about 2kg of material using a scoop and a drill.

  1. The moon rotates, so to reach the dark side all a craft has to do is wait for the spot it lands on to rotate away from the sun, duh.

  2. Wouldn't it be wonderful if they could collect all the spacesuit boot overlays which NASA ALEDGES are still on the lunar surface…..😮
